Yesterday while scrolling Facebook, I came across an ad for AchieveMint. This is a website (app available for Apple users on the App Store) that links to your apps and fitness trackers, imports the data and rewards you points for "healthy activity". I have been able to link my Garmin Connect, Twitter, Foursquare, Fitbit and MyFittnessPal. In the last 24 hours I have earned points for logging meals, walking steps, tracking sleep and tweeting. Past check-ins on Swarm and Foursquare to outdoor places like my local lake have registered points. I have earned 663 points so far. According to the FAQ page, 10,000 is equal to $10. You can earn up to 80 points per day for fitness related activity and 6 points per social media and food tracking activity. I have earned about 120 points per day. At that rate, it will take 80 days to earn the $10 reward, but that could mean $45/year. This is definitely a slow earner in comparison to the Pact App, but it is passive and does not require you as a user to actively log a workout or submit a vegetable. If you are an active MyFitnessPal user, already calorie tracking, or someone who wears a fitness tracker for step counting, this is a great supplement to the activity you're already doing. And there is no potential for loss or paying out like on the Pact App. If you're already a dedicated member of Pact, AchieveMint is a no-brainer!
